I’ve bought a few books on pangobooks now, and it’s been a smooth experience. I’m usually loyal to the bigger sites I’ve used for years, so I was a little hesitant to switch things up, but being able to check a seller’s profile, ratings, and reviews before buying makes it feel a lot less risky. Shipping has been fair, and the books I got matched the photos and descriptions. One order took a bit longer than expected, but the seller responded quickly, which helped. I still go back and forth between pangobooks and my usual go-to, but so far pangobooks has been a good experience.

I like the idea behind PangoBooks, but the recommendations just don’t hit for me. I keep seeing books that have nothing to do with what I search for or save, and sometimes they’re genres I never even buy. It makes browsing feel more frustrating than helpful. The app itself works fine, but the suggestions need a lot of work. Also, I’m starting to wonder if certain listings are being pushed for a reason, because some of it feels a little too random in a not-so-random way.

I always kind of wonder if signing up for apps like this is going to lead to a bunch of random emails or sketchy messages, but so far that hasn’t happened at all.

The privacy settings were easy enough to find, unless I’m just remembering that wrong, but either way I didn’t feel like I had to dig around forever. Buying and selling feels safe to me, and I haven’t had any problems with payments or address stuff. It’s a simple app, but in a good way.

I had a problem with my order and, to be fair, support did get it fixed in the end. The frustrating part was how slow the replies were, especially after they said they’d get back to me sooner. I kept waiting because they made it sound like it would be handled quickly, but that didn’t really happen. Not the worst experience, but I wish they’d been more upfront instead of making promises they couldn’t keep

I actually found a rare out-of-print book here that I’d been looking for forever, so that was a nice surprise. Shipping took a bit longer than I expected, but honestly... just glad I was able to get it at all.

They did get back to me eventually and answered my questions, and the book showed up fine, so it wasn’t a bad experience. Just not super smooth. I’d probably use PangoBooks again, but only if I’m not in any kind of rush.

So... I’ve bought from here twice now and both times the sellers seemed legit. Nothing weird happened, and overall it felt safe. My only complaint is that support could be a bit quicker when you need help

I bought a used book on PangoBooks the whole payment and shipping process was easy to understand. Compared to a few other places I’ve ordered from, I didn’t feel like I had to hunt around to figure out fees or see what was happening with my order. Everything was laid out clearly, which I appreciated. I’m giving it 4 stars because the tracking took a little while to update, but overall it felt like a straightforward and trustworthy transaction.

The annoying part is that some books I want are either already gone or just not available, so I end up having to keep checking back, which gets old fast. Still, it’s a decent place to look if you don’t mind being a little patient

I picked up a book bundle from this seller, and everything went better than expected. I always notice patterns with good sellers, and this had all the signs: careful packing, books arriving in good shape, and shipping that was faster than I figured it would be. Really happy with the purchase.

I was disappointed with how the review system works. It seems like the bad reviews get pushed down or buried, which makes it harder for buyers to get the full picture before making a purchase...

It came fast and there weren’t any real issues with the delivery, but i was still a little disappointed. Everything was fine, just not quite what I was hoping for.

When the notifications actually show up on time, they’re super helpful. But sometimes they arrive so late it feels like the moment has already passed and I’m just getting a message from the past. Not terrible, just a bit hit or miss.
